Delete your Scorch account
Scorch · Updated 19 September 2026
You can request deletion without reinstalling Scorch or signing in.
Request account deletion by email
Send to razanians313@gmail.com, preferably from your Scorch account email. Say “Please delete my Scorch account and associated personal data.” If you also joined the website waitlist, say that you want that entry deleted too.
If the link does not open your email app, copy the address above into your usual email service. Do not send a password, email confirmation code or identity document.
Delete from the app
When signed in, open Settings → Delete account and follow the confirmation steps. Stop and save any active workout first. Deletion removes the current account; signing out or uninstalling the app alone does not delete a cloud account.
What happens next
Email requests are handled by Scorch support. We may need to confirm you control the account before deleting it, especially if you write from a different address. If you no longer control the registered email, explain that in your request; do not send someone else’s credentials.
Opening this page or an email draft does not submit a request. Send the email to start the process. The usual GDPR response period for rights requests is one month from receipt; if a permitted extension or additional identity information is needed, we will explain why.
What deletion covers
The current app’s deletion action removes your sign-in account and its associated profile, stored workouts, territory, privacy-zone settings and linked account-owned records. Earlier coach profiles and connections are included where linked to that account. Removing Coach, Chapter and kit screens from the current app does not itself delete their earlier records. A shared club can pass to a remaining member, including when you created it; shared Convoy summaries can remain for other participants.
Deletion cannot be undone through the app. Export any workouts you want to keep before confirming. An export you retain is your own copy.
Separate records and retained copies
- Website waitlist: this is separate from app accounts. Ask explicitly for its deletion, or email with the subject Delete my Scorch waitlist entry.
- Earlier Scorch or RunConquer accounts: old testing services are separate from the current app. Tell support if your request includes an earlier account. Deleting the current account does not automatically reach an old service.
- Safety and legal records: reports made by other people can retain restricted snapshots of reported public content after the target account is deleted. Limited report, correspondence or security records may remain where needed to investigate abuse or meet legal obligations. They must not be reused as an active profile. Ask support which records remain and why.
- Provider recovery copies: deletion from the active database is not a promise of instant erasure from every backup or service log. Restricted recovery copies can remain until overwritten under the provider’s retention arrangements.
- Your device and shared copies: the app attempts to clear the current account’s local workouts, drafts, media and settings and shows a warning if cleanup fails. Earlier unassigned data, some local safety preferences and other devices’ copies can remain. Photos, videos, GPX exports and posts saved to your gallery or shared to other platforms are not remotely erased by deleting Scorch. Delete those copies in their destinations separately; contact support if a cleanup warning appears.
Delete some data or request a copy
You may request access, a copy, correction or deletion of particular data without asking to close your whole account. Describe the category involved, such as the waitlist, an earlier coach profile or a workout. GPX export contains route information; it is not a complete copy of every account record.
